Corporate & Enterprise

SOT empowers modern businesses with fully integrated IT systems. From hybrid meeting room technologies and versatile PBX communications to high-speed enterprise Wi-Fi and biometric access management, SOT builds the ultimate corporate workspace.

Corporate environments are the sector where technology is least visible and most consequential: nobody notices the network until a floor cannot join a meeting. The work is therefore judged on continuity rather than on capability, and the design decisions that matter are the redundant ones — dual uplinks, a second circuit, a UPS that has actually been load-tested.

The second characteristic is churn. Offices are re-planned, teams move, headcount changes, and a building's technology has to absorb that without a project each time. That is an argument for generous containment, spare outlets and a switching design with real port headroom — all of which look like over-provisioning on day one and like foresight in year three.

The third is that corporate buildings are now full of non-corporate devices. Cameras, door controllers, room systems, sensors and building management all sit on the same infrastructure as the finance department, and segmenting them is the single most valuable security measure available in an office.

What this covers

  • Campus and floor networking

Switching and cabling with declared port and containment headroom, so an office move is a patching exercise rather than an installation.

  • Enterprise wireless

Coverage and capacity designed for open-plan density and for meeting rooms, where client counts spike and roaming has to hold a call together.

  • Meeting room systems

Conferencing specified per room from its seating plan, with a join experience that does not need a colleague's help.

  • Access control and visitor management

Doors, turnstiles and reception flows with an audit trail, and a visitor process that does not depend on a paper book.

  • Segmentation and access policy

Corporate, guest, building systems and surveillance separated by policy, which in an office is the highest-value control available.

  • Comms room and power

Cabinets, UPS and cooling sized for the floor plate, with the environmental monitoring that stops a cooling failure becoming an outage.

How we deliver it

  1. 01

    Site survey

An engineer walks the site and records what is actually there — cable routes, containment, power, ceiling voids, existing equipment and its condition. Most of the cost overruns on a project of this kind are either discovered here or discovered late.

  2. 02

    Design and Bill of Quantities

A drawn design and an itemised BoQ: every part, its quantity and its price, with the reasoning for the specification written beside it. You own the document whether or not you buy from us.

  3. 03

    Supply from Riyadh stock

Equipment released against the BoQ from local stock where we hold it, or ordered directly from the vendor where we do not. Serial numbers are recorded against your project, so a warranty claim later does not depend on you having kept the paperwork.

  4. 04

    Installation and commissioning

Our own engineers install, terminate, configure and test. The testing is documented — link certification, camera fields of view, failover checks — and the results are handed over as part of the file rather than described verbally.

  5. 05

    Handover and support

As-built drawings, configuration backups, credentials and test results, plus training for whoever will run it day to day. Support and warranty are handled by the same team that installed it.

Standards and regulations

What a deployment is measured against. A consultant or a main contractor will check a proposal against these, so they are named rather than implied.

ANSI/TIA-568
Cabling categories, link lengths and certification. The 90-metre horizontal limit is what decides how many comms rooms a floor plate needs.
ISO/IEC 27001
Information security management. Even without certification it is a useful structure, because it assigns ownership rather than leaving controls unowned.
NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls
The Saudi baseline framework, and the one an assessment is most likely to be measured against.
Civil Defense requirements
Fail-safe behaviour on controlled doors and the interface between access control and fire detection, which in a multi-tenant building is checked carefully.

Questions we get asked

Does SOT manage a full office IT fit-out or just individual systems?

SOT can scope and deliver a full integrated fit-out spanning networking, telephony, security, and AV, or individual systems as needed.

How does SOT prioritize which systems to deploy first in an office build-out?

SOT typically sequences core networking and power/cabling infrastructure first, followed by telephony, security, and AV layers.

Can existing enterprise systems be integrated rather than replaced?

Yes, SOT assesses existing infrastructure and integrates where feasible rather than defaulting to full replacement.
