الشبكات الواسعة المعرفة بالبرمجيات

Branch and multi-site networking with policy-based path selection across fibre, fixed wireless and LTE, so one degraded circuit does not take a site offline.

A traditional branch network sends everything back to a central site over a single private circuit. That is simple, and it fails in two ways: the circuit is a single point of failure, and cloud traffic makes a pointless round trip to head office and back out again, adding latency to exactly the applications people now use most.

SD-WAN separates the decision from the circuit. Several links — fibre, fixed wireless, LTE — are treated as one pool, and policy decides which traffic uses which: a voice call pinned to the lowest-jitter path, bulk backup pushed onto the cheapest, and everything failing over automatically when a link degrades rather than when it dies completely. That distinction matters, because most circuits deteriorate before they drop, and a system watching only for a dead link will keep sending calls down a path that has become unusable.

The other reason to deploy it is administrative. Configuration, policy and firmware are pushed centrally, so a new branch is provisioned from a template rather than by sending an engineer with a console cable.

ما يشمله هذا المجال

  • Multi-path transport

Fibre, fixed wireless and LTE bonded into one logical WAN, with per-application steering rather than a single default route.

  • Application-aware policy

Voice, video, ERP and general browsing each given the path that suits them, measured continuously on latency, jitter and loss.

  • Sub-second failover

Traffic moved off a degrading circuit before users notice, instead of after a link has failed outright.

  • Zero-touch branch provisioning

New sites brought up from a central template, so opening a branch does not depend on an engineer travelling to it.

  • Encrypted site-to-site

IPsec overlays between sites and into cloud regions, so the underlying transport does not have to be private to be safe.

ما سنسألك عنه

هذه هي الأسئلة التي تحدّد المواصفات. جهوزية الإجابات هي ما يحوّل المحادثة الأولى إلى عرض سعر فعلي.

  1. 01

What is actually running over the WAN?

Policy is only as good as the traffic profile behind it. Voice, video conferencing and a hosted ERP have very different tolerances, and the design should name them rather than treat the WAN as one pipe.

  2. 02

What circuits are available at each site?

SD-WAN needs at least two paths to do anything useful. In some locations the realistic second path is LTE or fixed wireless rather than a second fibre.

  3. 03

Where does internet traffic break out?

Local breakout is faster; central breakout is easier to inspect and control. This is a security decision as much as a performance one, and it should be made deliberately.
