Commercial-grade panels with players and central content management, specified for the brightness and duty cycle the location actually demands.

Digital signage fails in three predictable ways, and all three are specification rather than software. A consumer television used in a public space runs far more hours than it was rated for and fails inside its life while its warranty declines to cover commercial use. A panel specified for indoor office brightness placed behind glass in daylight is unreadable. And a screen in portrait orientation that was not rated for portrait installation traps its own heat and shortens its life considerably.

The fourth failure is operational rather than physical: a network of screens with no central content management becomes a network of screens showing last month's content, because updating each one means visiting it. A player and a CMS turn that into one action from a desk.

SOT specifies the panel class, brightness, orientation rating and duty cycle against the location, and the player and management platform against how content will actually be produced and scheduled.

ما يشمله هذا المجال

  • Commercial panels

Displays rated for the daily hours and the orientation they will actually run in, with warranties that cover commercial use.

  • High-brightness and window-facing

Panels specified against measured ambient light for shopfronts and glazed frontages, where an office-grade screen simply disappears.

  • Players and content management

Scheduling, playlists and remote updating so an estate of screens is managed centrally rather than screen by screen.

  • Monitoring

Alerting on a player that has stopped or a panel that is off, so a blank screen is known about before a customer mentions it.

  • Data-driven content

Feeds from live sources — queue positions, prices, availability — so a screen shows current information rather than a static image.

ما سنسألك عنه

هذه هي الأسئلة التي تحدّد المواصفات. جهوزية الإجابات هي ما يحوّل المحادثة الأولى إلى عرض سعر فعلي.

  1. 01

How many hours a day, and which orientation?

Both are warranty conditions. A panel run beyond its rating or mounted in an unrated orientation fails early and is not covered.

  2. 02

    How bright is the location?

Behind glass in daylight needs several times the brightness of an interior wall. This is measured, not estimated.

  3. 03

    Who produces and schedules content?

A signage network with no owner shows stale content within weeks. The CMS choice should follow from who will actually operate it.
