كاميرات تحليل حركة العملاء

Loss prevention coverage that also counts footfall, dwell and movement — one installation answering two questions.

Retail is the sector where surveillance most obviously pays for itself twice. The cameras needed for loss prevention at tills and entrances are, with the right specification and placement, the same cameras that count people entering, measure dwell in front of a display and show which parts of a store customers never reach.

That second use imposes its own requirements. Counting needs an overhead or near-overhead view at an entrance rather than the oblique angle a security camera would use, and heat mapping needs coverage of the floor area rather than of the valuable items. Designing for both from the start costs little; retrofitting analytics onto a security-only layout usually means additional cameras.

Because analytics of this kind processes information about people, the lawful basis under PDPL has to be established deliberately — and there is a meaningful difference between counting anonymous shapes and anything that recognises individuals.

ما يشمله هذا المجال

  • Loss prevention coverage

Tills, entrances, stockrooms and blind spots specified to identify rather than merely to record.

  • Footfall counting

Entrance cameras positioned for accurate counting, which is a different mounting position from a security view.

  • Dwell and heat mapping

Floor coverage that shows where customers go, pause and never reach, reported over time.

  • Queue measurement

Queue length and wait time at tills, usable to open a till before customers abandon.

  • Reporting

Trends by store and daypart, so merchandising decisions have evidence rather than impressions.

ما سنسألك عنه

هذه هي الأسئلة التي تحدّد المواصفات. جهوزية الإجابات هي ما يحوّل المحادثة الأولى إلى عرض سعر فعلي.

  1. 01

    Counting or watching?

The two want different camera positions. Deciding both up front avoids a second set of cameras later.

  2. 02

    What is the lawful basis?

Analytics processes personal data under PDPL. Anonymous counting and individual recognition are very different positions.

  3. 03

    Who reads the reports?

Analytics with no owner becomes a dashboard nobody opens. Name the recipient before buying it.
